2. Honeysuckle Restaurant

Their seasonal menus are inspired by the abundant local produce, and authentic East Asian flavours and ingredients. In the same style of traditional Yumcha (飲茶), their Luncha menu is designed to be shared, and also offers a banquet menu with vegetarian options. Their Honeysuckle Dinner menu is also designed to be shared, and the inspiration from East Asia is often subtle, with stronger authentic touches with the use of ingredients such as jellyfish.

Review on Trip Advisor – “Was good to find this delightful little restaurant. We are always on the look out for a good yum cha in the area and, whilst we were disappointed it was not ‘trolley style’, we nevertheless have a very satisfying lunch. There are three pieces in each dish and we probably over ordered as sizes were ample. However with just under $100 for 8 small bowls and two beers, it was good value. Service was polite and welcoming. If I could find one negativity it would be that there was too much time between dishes coming out and not very timely, i.e. the fried rice came first and really wanted that with the other dishes, having said that, would happily recommend and return to Honeysuckle.” – marigoldKent

Review on Trip Advisor – “The food was absolutely delicious, We choose 2 individual dishes from the bbq menu. It could easily feed 3. The frappe snow drinks were huge and so refreshing. We’ve discovered our new favourite restaurant and will definitely be back. The bbq combo meals range from 90-115, but will feed 4 people, so good value. Try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. Open 7 days a week.” – SusanA865
