Review on Zomato – “My friend and I came here on a busy Saturday morning, but thankfully didn’t have to wait too long for a table – maybe about 10 minutes. Service was attentive and quick, although they accidentally brought me the wrong coffee and had to remake it. For food, I got the zucchini and corn fritters, and my friend got the pork belly with roast potato and salsa. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and had a try of each other’s. These were the best corn fritters I’ve ever had, they were so crispy and flavourful, and everything else on the plate was paired well. I just wish there had been more! My friend’s pork belly was also really delicious, very soft and succulent with a generous piece of pork. I would definitely come back for brunch again!” – Li-Anne

Review on Zomato – “Visited Mr Tulk last Sunday. It was a cold and miserable day but walking in the cafe, I instantly loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the whole place, beautiful background music, reflecting our beautiful city….forgetting what it was like outside. Very conveniently located adjoining the State Library (which by the way, had not visited for quite a number of years), a great opportunity to go inside and see how much it changed. Going back to the cafe, we ordered brunch, poached eggs where perfect, sauteed garlic mushrooms; delicious, bacon, asparagus, bread…could not fault anything…coffee was exactly how I liked it. Owners and staff were very welcoming, with smiles leading us to our table. I noticed a vast range of different age groups, which was good to see…loved it…Great place for small functions, gatherings, and just a nice spot to have a bite to eat before catching the train back home…again, conveniently situated across the road…Will definitely visit again!!” – Kyrani Zapantis

Review on Yelp – “Latty and Katarina were great baristas. I was working with them at the NFL House during the week of the Super Bowl in DTLA. Both of them and the other staff were great to us and the guests. It was mainly 2 of them to serve at an event with around 2,500+ people. They were also kind enough to offer us lattes and even recommended one with Dove chocolate, which I loved! I would get a drink from them before I went on my commute home. Overall their service and barista skills were great. I would recommend their business for any events in the future.” – Aysha H

Review on Facebook – “5 stars Staff were so friendly and accommodating during the late Saturday morning rush. We had a burger (although it was a little too medium for my “well done” preferring friend, but I’m sure if you asked you could have the pattie cooked well done) and the black chia pudding both of which were perfect, delicious and filling! The vegan raspberry lamington was heaven and our coffees were made well (I’m not a huge fan of coffee but ‘twas quality and I just drink it to wake up.) The service was prompt, staff were knowledgeable and the large and incredibly spacious setting was eye opening: a coffee roasting lab/factory with an industrial finish. Well done” – Michelle Csigi

Review on Yelp – “This is basically one of those classic back alleyway cafes that you tend to find scattered all over the Melbourne CBD, however the main difference is that this particular back alleyway has yet to be done up in the way the ones closer to the shopping district has been done. In fact, I do hope that the old warehouses here aren’t knocked down to make way for more apartment blocks, though honestly I am not holding my breath. However, this place does get pretty packed at lunch time, but I did manage to find a seat when I came here, and I even had a coffee. I have to admit, the coffee actually wasn’t bad at all.” – David S
